Incenergy Team Members

Chief Executive Officer

Barry McConachie has over 25 years of business development experience, building and managing software, renewable energy, data communications and wireless technology companies. In 2009 he founded Incenergy to develop affordable energy management retrofit software solutions for the commercial building market. As founder and CEO, Barry leads the company in innovating economical, wireless, mobile energy efficiency products that achieve dramatic energy reductions in commercial buildings; and accelerate the evolution of the Smart Grid to the Smart Building.

Earlier, in 2007,recognizing the need for mitigating climate change, Barry formed Global Climate Strategies, turning his strategic insights to developing carbon reduction projects and software in energy efficiency, bio-power, biogas, transportation and forestry projects in the US and Latin America. Previously, as founder and CEO, Barry grew Multimedia Development Corporation into a leader in Internet data provisioning systems and Voice Over Internet, serving major telecom companies such as MCI Telecom, Worldcom, Samsung, Southwestern Bell Corporation and Tecnet. After leading MMD in a merger with Dallas-based DSL equipment provider Efficient Networks, Barry successfully turned the strategic focus of Efficient Networks from low-margin hardware sales to higher value systems and software products. He was then instrumental in the $1.5 billion dollar acquisition of Efficient Networks by Siemens, where he was appointed vice president and general manager of Service Management.

Barry is married with 3 children and lives beside beautiful Lake Austin. From there he has a carbon neutral commute in his electric vehicle.

Sandra Kimball

A fifth-generation Texan, Sandra has been abundantly blessed by the healthy real estate markets of Austin and Houston, a devoted trophy husband, and four gorgeous daughters. In 2012, Sandra took the bold leap and followed her heart into changing the world, one building at a time. As a Regional Account Director at Incenergy, Sandra and her colleagues aspire to reduce 1 billion pounds of carbon from the air within five years. As lofty as that may sound, their revolutionary product is doing just that with a mobile wireless Energy Management System that can span entire portfolios of retail and commercial buildings. When she’s not saving the world, Sandra plans outrageous parties, volunteers with her girlfriends in Austin Angels, and attends Austin Ridge Bible church.
